Namaste, Hoi,

When dream projects become reality!

It started with a trial in Krati’s studio where she first printed her work, made spice blends in her Dutch kitchen and as she started introducing her work and blends in art markets and pop ups, that was a moment this dream of having her own store was born. This was the beginning of Mosmi Living (formerly - From Krati’s Atelier).

Things with an aesthetic, colourful stories and food filled with aroma and spices, this is what she wants her customers to experience. Conscious, slow, small batch, made with care and attention to detail, are some of the things Krati strive for and her store is also a reflection of this vision. Her love for handmade and homemade developed at an early age and the art of curating pieces handmade or vintage is something she learnt from her mother. You can find out more about Krati’s photography work on her portfolio website.

People and Planet First

We are small but not afraid of adopting practices that can help us maintain a healthy relationship with our people and planet. Transparency and fair trade are not just words for us but our core pillars on which we want to build our business. We admire and love working with our suppliers, collaborators and makers who are working hard in preserving and restoring ethical and planet friendly practices.

Our spice suppliers, The Good Spice and Graamya work with farmers and growers who follow regenerative practices and are growing spices that are traceable, of indigenous varieties and are absolute best in their quality. Growers and makers getting fair prices and due credits for their work is paramount for us and for our suppliers.

We all know handmade products have a beautiful charm and uniqueness to them which a commercially made product can never replicate. To preserve and promote this love of handmade, Krati’s vision is to make this store a place for people to buy these unique pieces. We will be slowly expanding our range from various ceramics to other tableware and eventually homewares. We are elated with our first collaboration with a Rotterdam based ceramic artist, Eva Lotte Lisander that resulted in some beautiful handcrafted mugs. Each piece is carefully handmade, unique and a reflection of Lotte’s love for minimalism and her art form.

We are also aware of the waste around us and which is why we monitor our packaging and wherever possible recycle, reuse and repurpose our packaging and marketing materials. We are also open to any suggestions and ideas from our customers for any planet friendly packaging tips. Reach out to us directly on our socials or send us an email at info@kratiagarwal.com. We appreciate and welcome any inputs and suggestions from our followers and customers.
